Your site will be built in stages:
We
will be in constant contact using
Email, Telephone, Regular Mail, and the Internet.
You will be able to see your site
as it is being built and view the progress at a designated
demo location every step of the way.
Here are the steps to designing
your site
Step 1: Together
we will determine what you want your site to do for
you or your business. We will decide what you
want your site to say and how you want it to look
and feel. We will determine the navigation of
your site and how many pages it will contain.
Step 2: You
will need to email me any pictures and business logo’s
that you want on the site. I will take what you
send me and build a demo for you to view on the web. This
is where we will determine the overall color scheme
and look of your site.
Step 3: Determine
a domain name for your site (www.yoursite.com) and
discuss what keywords you want to target in the search
engines. Establishing your keywords at this point
is important so they can be optimized throughout your
site as it is being built. This will help with
your search engine placement.
Step 4: Finish
your home page and get final approval on the look
and content of it before building any more pages. This
is important because changes are easy to do at this
point to only one page. If you decide to make
changes later we may have to make the changes to all
the pages.
Step 5: Work
on adding pages and content to the site. As the
site nears completion We will move the site from the
demo stage to your actual hosting location and make
your domain name point to the hosting. (Hosting
is where your site will reside. All sites on
the web reside on a hosting server) We will discuss
the hosting charges and what is included in those
charges. They may vary based on if you need regular
updating or have a shopping cart, etc.
Step
6: We finish the site and do a final approval. Once
this is done I will submit your site to the major
search engines such as Google, MSN, Yahoo, etc.
